Supply Chain Performance with INControl

Measure Supply Chain Performance with Excel Reports

You’ve got a system going in your supply chain business. But how do you know if it’s a great one? or not good at all? You’ve got to know what’s effective and know where you’re going wrong, so you can do something about it.

Another piece of the puzzle is being able to analyse various tasks and gather performance data for each one, to make tweaks if needed.

INControl comes to the rescue with impressive business intelligence in the form of Excel reports. With these in your pocket, you’ll get more supply chain visibility and control.

Just check your inbox for the reports and take them to analyse data and track performance for a variety of supply chain metrics.  All of which can be customised to your business needs.

Do you want to know some of them? Sure thing.

4 types of data you can analyse with Excel reports

Delivery performance

Assess the percentage of daily orders that are delivered on time, allowing you to see how well you are meeting your customers’ demands. If needed, you can take steps to fulfill orders better and ensure faster deliveries such as improving your route optimisation and driving methods. What is the result? Enhanced customer loyalty, brand reputation and repeat purchases, resulting in increased profits.

Order fulfillment accuracy

This includes the percentage of orders that are carried out correctly. Take this data and pinpoint possible errors in your processing of orders and warehouse structure, which you can rectify. For example, suppose you notice a high percentage of incorrect orders being shipped due to errors in picking or packing.  You can then implement solutions like barcode scanning systems, improved quality control checks, or additional staff training to improve accuracy when sending orders out. This will reduce order returns, improve customer satisfaction, and minimise inventory problems.

Inventory turnover

Get a report on the number of times inventory is sold or used in a given period. This is marketing-related data you want. Why? You’ll be able to identify your most “sort out” products on the market, and then push these products even more to get more sales. Or perhaps, remove products that are not as competitive or profitable.

Supplier performance

The performance of your suppliers is essential for a functioning supply chain, as you rely on them to deliver goods to your customers timeously. Get all types of supplier reports to analyse your suppliers in terms of their quality, delivery time, and pricing. Then, make comparisons between each one to see which ones are best for your business. For instance, by examining supplier delivery times, you can see which suppliers consistently meet your expectations and deliver products on schedule. This allows you to strengthen your supply chain by fostering relationships with reliable suppliers.

Get 100s of Excel reports

There are even more metrics you can analyse with Excel reports. This means you can keep digging and digging with more data insights and measure performance for all your business activities.

INControl is basically your spade, allowing you to fill the gaps in your supply chain business, and make the improvements you need.
